Are you a business owner who gets automated broadcast calls several times a day like I do?
Don't you hate that?
I do!
Most of the spam I get now days is via Phone Broadcasting by many of the blind gurus and marketers in the network marketing industry.
I mean, don't get me wrong, phone broadcasting is a great tool, but when used in the wrong way in the wrong hands it can be a disaster.
You've got all of these spammy marketers teaching their teams to buy scraper tools, (tools that harvest contact info on the internet) compile all of the names and numbers into a list, then blast the hell out of them and see what kind of results you get.
Is that anyway to run a business?
No. Not to mention its illegal the way some of these guys are doing it.
Since when did business and marketing become such a spam fest?
The unfortunate truth is every tool and new piece of technology that can be abused, will be.
Now Yes, I do back scraper tools in some cases and even using them for phone broadcasting and email marketing. I can see contacting those lists once or twice to bring in new leads, then only re-contacting the people responded to my offer. But when I get literally 8 calls in a single hour from the same person trying to get me to respond.... holy crap! That is not right! (I keep having to blacklist all of these phone numbers that drill my phone each day)
